In brief:

Shimmy Boyle is a writer, director, creative technologist, and general all-purpose maker of things.  He is currently Creative Director of Safety Third Productions, a boutique production house, specializing in movement-driven content.

Shimmy has extensive history working as a creative in advertising. Prior to helping launch Safety Third, Shimmy cut his teeth as a copywriter with Velocity, an ad agency in Oakland, before partnering with Brooklyn-based music start-up Sonic Panther, (subsequently acquired by Songza and Google), where he led targeted, content-driven campaigns to boost user engagement.

Next, he made the move brand-side, working in-house at Chobani as Creative Lead on Brand Communications, where he teamed up with agency partners like R/GA, GMR & Droga5, working on the Olympics and College Football, to produce award-winning, thumb-stopping, spectacular social content.

Over the course of his career, he has created content for the likes of Vice, Sundance Film Festival, the U.S. Olympic Committee, The Discovery Channel, The Onion, Snapchat, Food and Wine Magazine, Marvel, The New York Times, Dollar Shave Club, and IMG College Football.

He lives in Los Angeles.
