FILM MARKETING CAMPAIGN

The Brief:

For Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad spinoff, Birds of Prey, with Margot Robbie reprising her role as Harley Quinn, the IMAX-side strategy was to lean into the action and immersion of the IMAX experience. In terms of messaging, we really wanted to lean into the idea of seeing Gotham City through her eyes, as opposed to Batman or the Joker.

The Creative:

The marketing campaign for this film was extremely fun and eye-catching with bright jewel-tone colors and an illustrated/hand-drawn style hearkening back to Harley Quinn’s comic book roots.  For the IMAX exclusive creative work, we wanted to embrace the campy-ness of it while still maintaining the sleek sexiness of the film.  The result was a series of fun exclusive spots as well as some punchy motion assets leveraging the layered artwork files and bringing them to life with dynamic motion.
