Hi, I'm Shimmy!
I am the co-founder of Safety Third Productions, along with filmmaker, choreographer, and long-time collaborator Katherine Helen Fisher.
I also run the blogs: Nonsense Astrology With Uneducated Dave, and Compliment Robot.
My debut novel, Girl City Dream, was completed in November and is now awaiting publication. If you'd like to read a sample, you may do so here.
My written work has been published in a number of literary journals, including: The Adirondack Review, The Sheepshead Review, Blood Orange Review, Xenith, and Blazevox.
My written work is represented by Kaylee Davis at Dee Mura Literary.
Current projects include: a teleplay collaboration entitled The Work (excerpt here); a script for a stage show at The Box theatre in New York City; and a screenplay about the greatest roadie who ever lived, Sweet Pea St. James.
